Q: Where have you spent the quarantine?
A: Partially in Oregon and partially at my house in Pleasanton, Calif.
Q: What is the biggest positive to come from your quarantine?
A: Getting the time to focus more on my mental health, have life slow down a little bit, and spending more time with my family!
Q: What is your preferred work out location during quarantine?
A: Probably my garage. My parents got us all set up to have some good workouts in there. We have a treadmill, yoga mats, weights and a total gym!
Q: Abs or cardio?
A: Abs! But I have found some creative and fun ways to get my cardio in too.
Q: What TV series have you enjoyed the most during the quarantine?
A: At the beginning I was all about "Outer Banks," but currently I am watching "Love on the Spectrum."
Q: What have you done during the quarantine that you didn't do during normal life?
A: I have been able to explore new skin care products (I have an obsession), as well as try new snacks and recipes. Thanks TikTok and Lacy! J
Q: Have you done anything to improve yourself during quarantine?
A: I recently started a new book called "You Do You" and really love it. It is helping me feel more confident in myself.
Q: What was your favorite moment from the 2020 gymnastics season?
A: My two favorite moments were when my sister got a perfect 10 from a judge at our home meet against Stanford. The other is when I landed my one and a half for the first time in competition!
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: I don't really know at the moment, but it would be great if I could combine my interest in communications with my passion to help others.
Q: Is there a skill you're looking forward to learning during the offseason?
A: Hopefully I will learn a bar release!
Q: How did remote college work out for you?
A: I am pretty used to doing online classes, but I definitely learn better when I am in class, so my biggest challenge was missing that face-to-face connection with my teachers and classmates.
Q: What do you look forward to the most about getting back to practice?
A: I am so excited to see all the beautiful faces that I haven't seen for so long. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and see my best friends.
Q: Your sister, Lacy, recently got the news that she could come back for another year of competition. What is the best thing about having her back as a teammate one more time?
A: She is my best friend, so I couldn't be more excited! She helps me in every aspect of life and I feel grateful to have that for an extra year.
