Theft of motor vehicle parts
At 10:44 a.m. April 24 a police officer was dispatched to the 8400 block of Captons Lane for the theft of a catalytic converter. The complainant stated unknown offenders between 9 p.m. April 23 and 8 a.m. April 24, removed a catalytic converter. The approximate loss is $250.
Retail theft
Danietra Allen, 21, of the 7000 block of S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, was charged with retail theft at 4:50 p.m. April 24. A loss prevention official reported speaking to an employee that was attempting to return stolen items for cash.
Criminal damage to property
Raymond Rosario, 33, of the 1900 block Warren Street, Evanston, was charged with criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to land after notice that entry is forbidden, at 3:04 p.m. April 26.
DUI
Brittany Murphy, 36, of the16400 block of Haven Avenue, Orland Hills, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, at 2:50 a.m. April 28.
Dana Mazzuca, 38, of the 0-100 block of 77th Street, Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage, at 2:26 a.m. April 30.
Violation of order of protection
Mack Brown III, 29, of the 2300 block of Sokol Court, Darien, was charged with violation of an order of protection and a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County, at 9:47 a.m. April 28.
Unlawful use of weapon
David Augustine, 22, of the 5S300 block of Beau Bien Boulevard, Naperville, was charged with unlawful use of weapon, unlawful possession of cannabis by driver and speeding 21-25, at 9:09 a.m. April 30.
Traffic violations
Manuel Avila, 50, of the 500 block of Sumner Avenue, Aurora, was charged with driving while license revoked, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device, transportation or possession of open alcohol and operating uninsured motor vehicle, at 11:27 p.m. April 30.
Jeffrey Oakes, 26, of the 10600 block of Oxford Avenue, Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving while license revoked and possession of a controlled substance, from a Darien warrant, at 4:53 p.m. April 30.
