Former Duke basketball wing Cam Reddish showed the world a glimpse into the future.
With the Atlanta Hawks facing elimination on Saturday night, former Duke basketball freshman Cam Reddish was not going down without a fight.
Reddish, who was just recently cleared to play after sitting out nearly five months with Achilles soreness, led the Hawks in scoring with 21 points off the bench on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor and going 6-of-7 from 3-point range.
The former Blue Devil also led the team in +/- rating with a +4 as no one else on the team who played more than ten minutes had a positive rating.

Cam Reddish’s 21 points were the most points he has scored in a game since dropping 24 points in an overtime loss to the Brooklyn Nets back on January 27.
However, Reddish’s best effort was not enough as the Milwaukee Bucks topped the Atlanta Hawks, 118-107, winning the series in six games and advancing to the NBA Finals.
In his two seasons in the NBA, the former No. 10 overall pick has seen his time on the floor cut short due to injuries. But Reddish quickly rose to the occasion in his first-ever postseason, averaging 12.4 points per game in the Eastern Conference Finals on 53.5-percent shooting from the field and 46.4-percent from deep.
Duke basketball program sees final two playoff participants bounced
As Cam Reddish and the Hawks were eliminated from the playoffs on Saturday night in six games, Luke Kennard and the Los Angeles Clippers saw their playoff run come to an end against the Phoenix Suns on June 30.
Phoenix held off a series comeback bid against the Clippers and advanced to the Finals in six games, too.

After scoring ten points in Game 2, all coming in the fourth quarter, Kennard failed to crack double figures in the five other games he appeared in throughout the series.
The NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns begins on Tuesday, July 6 at 9:00pm EST (ABC).
