The New Jersey Devils made seven selections at the 2021 Entry Draft and John reacted to these picks this past weekend. We discuss each selection and how it fits the Devils’ overall building plan.
Additionally, we discuss the expansion draft and the newly minted Seattle Kraken roster. Nathan Bastian will compete for a spot on that roster as we bid him adieu.
There are some intriguing and noteworthy free agents linked to the Devils in recent days and we discuss those names and what they may bring to the table. We’ll have more of a look at free agency once the signing period becomes official.
Overall, it’s an exciting time to be a Devils fan as the moves keep coming in. Hopefully the next one is a bit more high profile than Nick Merkley for Christian Jaros.
