Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet is planning to honor 157 graduates this week with three events.
The celebration of 2021 graduates will kick off at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, with a modified in-person pinning ceremony for associate degree nursing program graduates, followed by a graduate parade and virtual commencement ceremony Thursday, May 13, according to a news release from FDLTCC.
The pinning ceremony will be limited to graduates only, with livestreaming available.
Thursday's virtual ceremony for graduates will also be available for online viewing. It will include a slideshow with each graduate’s name, photo, future plans and special messages, along with addresses from college administrators, employees and students.
The graduate parade will also be held Thursday, beginning at the college at 5 p.m. It will feature performances from the Cedar Creek drum group as FDLTCC faulty and staff cheer for students.
After the parade, graduates will have the opportunity to take pictures on campus while following social distancing protocols.
