Coach Brandt Nigro on the Black Knights: "After a transition year and a COVID year to kick-off my first two season's here on Post, I'm excited to finally get things rolling with our team. We have strong leadership in our captains and senior class; they share the same vision and goals as our staff and are working hard to move the program forward in the right direction. We've welcomed in a big, talented, and deep recruiting class this summer," said Coach Nigro. "Our meet schedule is the toughest in Army West Point Swimming & Diving history and will challenge us to step up against some of the best teams in the NCAA. BOSTON UNIVERSITY TERRIERS
Head Coach: Bill Smyth (17th season)
Letterwinners returning/graduated: 23/6
All-League Returnees: Second-Team – Stuart Vickery (2019 & 2020), Sarsen Whatmore (2020)

Boston University finished fifth at the 2020 Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championship but are looking to two-time Second-Team All-League member Stuart Vickery and 2020 Second-Team honoree Sarsen Whatmore to lead the team into the 2021-22 season. With the addition of nine newcomers to the squad, the Terriers are excited to return to a normal competition schedule.

Coach Bill Smyth on the Terriers: “This is going to be a really exciting season for our team. This is the deepest our team has ever been for both men and women. We have quite a few school records that are in trouble this year both individually and in relays. Regardless of our performances, we are really looking forward to having a normal year filled with challenges and rewards based on the work we put into the season as a team.”

BUCKNELL BISON
Head Coach: Dan Schinnerer (16th season)
Letterwinners returning/graduated: 20/8
All-League Returnees: None
Bucknell Head Coach Dan Schinnerer and the Bison will look to build on a strong 2020 Patriot League Championship performance, which saw them place fourth. Returning 20 from the 2020-21 team, the Bison are in a good position to capitalize on the performance of last year's newcomers to lead the program through the 2021-22 season.

Coach Dan Schinnerer on the Bison: "This team has the makings of one of the best men's teams we've had in a while. But that's on paper. Our job is to develop our talent and live up to our potential. Last year, one of the most exciting things was the performance of our freshmen. Through the many challenges, they really stepped up. We also have many other good returners and a strong incoming freshman class."

COLGATE RAIDERS
Head Coach: Ed Pretre (2nd season)
Letterwinners returning/graduated: 8/3
All-League Returnees: None

Second-year head coach Ed Pretre will lean on his returning letterwinners to lead the way for a Raiders’ squad that will also feature eight newcomers for this season. With a talented incoming class, the Raiders hope the program’s depth can propel them through the 2021-22 season.

Coach Ed Pretre on the Raiders: "I think this is the first time in a long time that our team is going to have plenty of depth. There's a lot more versatility than what we've had. Our goal this year is to get out of the cellar of the conference. If it's not going to be this year, it's definitely going to happen next year, and we want to start climbing the ladder and at least getting to the middle of the pack as that's our goal as a team. I think our seniors are really the main glue. They're just great leaders in and out of the pool, they’re leading by example, and they're doing all the little right things that have kind of been lacking over the last few years."

HOLY CROSS CRUSADERS
Head Coach: Jeff Barlok (4th season)
Letterwinners returning/graduated:14/5

Coach James Dailey on the Leopards: "We are looking forward to our 2021-22 season. It will hopefully be an exciting return to some kind of normalcy. Recruiting went very well, and we added 11 men and 18 women as first-years to the 2021-22 rosters. Many of them are fast enough to be on our all-time top 10 lists. Last year's shortened season didn't stop us from adding performances to our all-time top 10 lists, and there is some good motivation heading into the season. Our current sophomores, juniors and seniors are enjoying a return to in-person classes, full class load and full training load. The season should be a good one for us, and we are looking forward to getting it started."

The Mountain Hawks, who finished sixth at the 2020 Patriot League Championship, just five points from No. 5 Boston University, are ready to resume League competition in advance of the 2021-22 championship meet.

Coach Rob Herb on the Mountain Hawks: "We are really looking forward to getting our guys back in competition with other Patriot League teams once again this season. We have a great deal of talent among both our upperclassmen and underclassmen. It should be exciting to assess how they will fare in the League."

All-League Returnees: First-Team –Caleb Mauldin, Ethan Tack; Second-Team –Matthew Fadel, Mike Jeschke, Chris Mayer, Derek Nguyen

The Navy Midshipmen return several All-League student-athletes, including a 2020 first-team member and 2019 rookie of the meet Caleb Mauldin, and fellow first-team member Ethan Tack. The defending Patriot League Champions return a large portion of the 2020-21 team with a significant number of Patriot League First- and Second-Team swimmers and divers for this season.

Coach Bill Roberts on the Midshipmen: "With the graduation of a stellar class of Midshipmen from the class of 2021, we definitely have our work cut out for us.  From beginning to end, the class of 2021 provided a terrific example of how to be excellent both in and out of the water.  We have been in similar positions before and are embracing the challenge of continuing to improve individually and as a program.  Right now, that is all that we are focused on achieving."
