In the Bryan Clay heptathlon, Chocek will be looking to improve upon her PR score of 4,681 points from last year's Pac-12 Championships. The Eugene, Ore., native is coming off a four-PR effort—200 meters, 100m hurdles, long jump and shot put—at the Hayward Premiere. Bullock was seventh at the 2021 NSAF Outdoor Nationals with 4,771 points while Uzoekwe will be making her heptathlon debut.

Vollmer is the two-time defending Pac-12 champion in the decathlon with a lifetime best of 7,964 points from the 2019 conference meet. That point total ranks sixth on the UO top-10 list. Poff and Kinder enter the meet with collegiate bests of 6,807 and 6,745 points, respectively. Katahdin will be competing in his first-ever collegiate decathlon.

Day two of the Bryan Clay Invitational (Thursday) will coincide with the start of the Ducks' competition schedule at the Mt. SAC Relays which will run through Saturday afternoon.

Collectively, Oregon has tallied 15 top-20 national marks through the first month of the outdoor season. That group includes top-10 performances by Jadyn Mays (22.80) and Iman Brown (22.92) at 200 meters, Shana Grebo (56.28) in the 400-meter hurdles and Mine De Klerk (17.19m/56-4.75) in the shot put.

The Women of Oregon—Mays, Brown, Jasmin Reed and Jasmine Montgomery—also own a top-10 time of 43.80 in the 4x100-meter relay.

Three-time NCAA champion Emmanuel Ihemeje is set to make his season debut in the triple jump while defending Pac-12 champions Alysah Hickey and Dominique Ruotolo will open in the long jump and triple jump, respectively.

In addition to the USATF.tv live stream, CNBC will televise the elite section—USATF Golden Games—of the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday afternoon. The two-hour broadcast window begins at 2 p.m. (PT).
